Enmity From God

“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.””
Genesis 3:15 NKJV
There are some things in our life that if God did not put enmity between the two of us we would be derailed from our divine assignment. That if God did not place enmity between me and the thing that I allow to easily beset me…distract me…to cause me to miss the mark, I would lose my way. That if he does not put this enmity between me and that thing that takes a hold of my mind and causes me to think off about someone who has no idea I’ve drawn a negative opinion and they’ve done nothing to me to cause me to think the way I think or feel. This enmity that God has to put between me and that thing that causes my emotions to flare up and cuss you out when I think you triggered me because of the comment you make. You’re not aware of my triggers yet you become the unfortunate casualty in a war you were unaware of going on internally within me.
God is more concerned about the outcome of his plan rather the desires of your want. God is more concerned about the fullness of your life rather than the immediate gratification of your flesh. He is more concerned about your willingness better yet ability to reflect his glory over your social media footprints in the earth.
So my prayer becomes God place enmity between me and whatever else is seeking to take your place in my life. God place enmity between me and any thought that would cause me to question your intentions towards me. God place enmity between me and anything that cause me to minimize your power in and over my life.
God I want you to be able to reflect your love and your power through my life….that when people see me they see you. That when people hear me they hear your voice. That when I embrace them they feel your tangible presence. God I want to be who you created me to be to so I am impactful to the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the enemy. God grace me with the power to build up the Kingdom of God and to destroy the works of the enemy. Father … Jesus said greater works shall I do so if that means you have to create enmity in my life….I give you permission to set it off in my life….
Romans 8:28 reminds me that this battle will work for my good because I am the called….for his purpose. I am the one like Samuel when he heard God calling…. And Eli said…..say speak Lord….for your servant is listening…are you listening?
